This is a wine that is only made in good years. It is a blend of di Garganega, Trebbiano Toscano, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Teroldego, Croatina, Oseleta, Sangiovese and Marzemino, all grown in the province of Verona. The grapes are hand-picked at different periods but are all pressed at the same time. Fermentation takes place in cement vats and the wines ages in both wood and in the bottle.
The wine has a ruby color with dark, impenetrable tones and its seductive aroma has great class. The bouquet has scents of rhubarb and tamarind, cherry and quince, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves, to then finish with notes of tobacco and underbrush. The flavor is sinuous, feminine and saucy while the mouthfeel is balanced and structured with a lovely salinity that accompanies a long aftertaste. The wine is still evolving and has a promising future.
