The color of this rare and legendary Napa Valley cult wine is a very dark red leaning towards black and despite being over 20 years old it remains intact. The aromas of Marasca cherry jam and strong spice assault the nose where sensations of chocolate and sweet pipe tobacco evolve. This colossal wine is one of the boldest and rare reds on the planet. The boldness and character of the mouthfeel is Amarone-esque while remaining soft and fresh despite its gigantic structure. The persistence is infinite, almost like a Vintage Port. A wine with an absolutely outstanding and rare originality.
