This wine has a lot of extracts that make it robust but do not distort the grape nor the territory. The color is a very bold, intense and bright ruby, while the aroma is clear, intense and decidedly centered on the fruit with a very warm raspberry and marasca cherry than leans towards kirsch. Although the smoked notes and spicy ones from the wood still need to bond, wines from earlier vintages allow us to be optimistic for the future. The mouthfeel is rich with jittery tannins that are necessary to balance the rich extracts. The persistence and after-aroma are excellent with an aftertaste that has no bitterness.
