Giusto di Notri 2012

A bend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc from organically grown grapes. The wine ages for around 18 months in new and once-used French oak barriques and has a dark, ruby color. The intense and wrapping aroma has a nice balance of spice, balsamic and fruity notes with scents of currant and blackberry, graphite and licorice, medicinal herbs and pepper which all contribute to create a lovely and complex profile. The mouthfeel is tasty, with distinct fruit and spice flavors, rich and warm with fine tannins, an elegant progression and a long black cherry aftertaste.
