Lorenzo and Paola Gatti, together with Enzo Balzarini, have developed a precise style which first of all highlights the typical characteristics of the grape by bringing out those of the soil they grow in. Their rosé is made from only Pinot Noir that comes from a one-hectare vineyard on a hill with a deep morainal ground and the grapes are fermented and aged on the lees for 24 months in steel. It has a pale, copper color with golden-pink reflections and a nose of great elegance and finesse. The aroma has scents of orange blossom and red apple peel, currant and tangerine. The mouthfeel is distinctly crunchy, sprightly and agile, with a lovely effervescence and a clear return of citrus while the pleasing and evident minerality create a wrapping drop. The finish is tasty and long with all the harmony of balanced freshness.
