A blend of Corvina, Saccola, Pontedarola and Negrara grown on the estate’s 10 hectares of vineyards and that dry on racks for three months. After that the wine ferments in stainless steel vats and matures for seven years in new 350-liter barrels. It then ages in the bottle before going to market.
The strong aromas range from wild cherry to blackberry and blueberry, medicinal herbs and licorice. A very profound and structured red, its intensity combines perfectly with its extreme elegance, a strong concentration of fruit and a lovely softness to the palate. The name Hurlo may refer to the rumble each sip creates with force, energy and engaging vitality.
