The color is a bright, quite concentrated ruby while the aroma is intense and nicely articulated, with smoky scents, bramble berry and a light touch of tobacco and wool, all well-defined but not very complex. The mouthfeel has average structure with an elegant progression and excellent, even if young, tannins. In the aftertaste there is a captivating nuance of gooseberry.
