You can only surrender when presented with a wine like this. The ruby color is still nicely intact and laced with garnet nuances. The aroma is very classy and dominated by spice, black and white pepper and cumin. The fruit returns as blackberry and there is an elegant balsamic and grassy vein. It is all very ample and intense. The mouthfeel is excellent and elegant with settled tannins and a typical acidity upholding the wine and giving it a long life. The aftertaste has excellent persistence and is consistent with the aroma. A wonderful way to end this tasting.
