This is from Novali, east of Cormons almost on the border with Slovenia, one of the all-time bestareas for Friulano, formally known as Tocai. The wine has a clear, golden color, an aroma of fresh almond and white peach, a bold flavor, wrapping and warm. Serve at 8°C with San Daniele prosciutto and sauté of mussels.
