Fraconia 2013

Made from only Franconia grapes, the wine is fermented, with frequent stirring, and aged in steel vats. It has a ruby color with a purple edge, while the bouquet is pulpy and captivating and reveals itself in stages with notes of currant, wild strawberry and raspberry, hint of ink and spice. The mouthfeel is soft with a pinch of sweetness which in no way masks its freshness and light tannins. The finish is fruity and subtly piquant.
