While the name may seem straight out of Harry Potter, it comes instead from a landslip produced by a very old landslide, in the territory of Foscarino, and it is one of the highest in the zone. The wine was made with only Garganega grapes, which are the only ones grown in the winery’s 32 hectares of vineyards. It is fermented in 50-hectoliter vats and then aged only in stainless steel. The aroma has an excellent complexity with notes of thyme, citron and yellow plum. The body is also excellent, with a taut mouthfeel thanks to a refreshing and distinct acidity.
