A very bright golden-yellow color and a most intense and articulated bouquet with scents of anise, apricot, candied orange and an intriguing lily of the valley. The mouthfeel has good extracts with a sweet attack held in check by a nice acidity that keeps the flavor from becoming banal. Dried fruit like figs return in the finish with peaches in syrup. The finish is nicely upheld and very persistent.
