Fioranello 2012

This is the estate’s ‘cadet’ wine made from Grechetto and Viognier grapes using a method which is, like the winery itself, off limits. It has a mildly bright, straw-yellow color with an incisive and clear aroma which has scents of yellow fruit, like medlar and peach, together with refreshing balsamic notes of anise, mint and resin and smoky hints as well as those of white pepper. The mouthfeel is very interesting with a wonderful saline component and the right amount acidity which are not isolated thanks to the lovely consistency and a very captivating progression.
