The wine is a blend of 60% Nebbiolo, 20% Barbera and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Its color is dense as is its aroma of dark spice and bark, ground coffee and juicy black cherry fruit. The mouthfeel, however, is curiously slender, less robust than one would have expected from the aroma, with a nice acidity and an aromatic persistence that is not that long.
