    An intense, bright ruby color and an assorted and complex aroma with the typical varietal notes of raspberry and blond tobacco, along with slightly smoky scents and those of spice together with hints of red currant and vanilla. The taut and saline mouthfeel is very elegant and youthful indicating a great propensity to age with velvety, thick yet composed tannins. The finish has a delicate, alcoholic warmth and the persistence of a champion. One of the historic vintages.
