From one of the doyens of this wine come this austere Morellino, from its 10% blend of Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. It has a very lovely ruby color with violet reflections, the bouquet is intense and clean with clear scents of incense and then red and black fruits. The flavor is rich and nicely articulated, broad, with distinct tannins. The finish is almost opulent with a nice balsamic touch.
