Efeso 2009

Librandi makes this wine using only Mantonico grapes and with technical assistance from Donato Lanati. The fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel vats and barriques. It ages in new and second-use French wood and for a short time in the bottle.
The wine has a clear and shiny, golden-yellow color with green reflections. The aroma is delicate and composed, developing on notes of gorse, yellow peach, apricot and tangerine marmalade with nuances of sage and Mediterranean brush. The flavor is totally consistent with the bouquet and adds a clear minerality and distinct sapidity, with a discreet acidity and slender body. There is a hint of sweetness in the finish.
