    Made with only Nero d’Avola and matured in barriques for 18 months. A very intense, ruby-garnet. This vintage could be called “The Return of the Red Duke”. The aromas are ethereal, very integrated and precise fruit, with wrapping scents of prune, dark cherry and oriental spice with a hint of tobacco. The mouthfeel is warm, bold and rich with tannins that are close to perfection, velvety and composed and the finish once again has amazing persistence.
