Alesso Di Majo is one of the most charming and colorful people in the world of wine, one who with his Molise red has been able to carry the flag of this small yet important winemaking region with his tenacity and consistency. The wine is made for the most part with Montepulciano with the addition of a little Aglianico before it ages in barriques. Its mouthfeel is as dense and profound as its impenetrable color. The aroma has distinct scents of wild red fruit, black cherry and notes of spice and toasted wood. This younger vintage already has the richness and density typical of riper grapes, those on the verge of being overripe.
