The Serracavallo winery is in Bisignano (CS) and has been family-owned since 1888. It is currently run by Demetrio Stancati and his wife Flaviana. In 1995 there was a major restructuring at the winery and 2000 was the first vintage after this.
This is 100% Magliocco Dolce and was fermented in steel and aged in American oak. It has a clear pink color with orange nuances. The aroma is dominated by distinct scents of ripe red plums and nuts. The mouthfeel is captivating, pulpy and more complex than the bouquet, taut and soft with a savory finish.
