A blend of 81% Chardonnay and 19% Pinot Noir Grand Cru grapes, the latter fermented on the skins and from the village of Sillery, which sat on the lees for 11 years before being disgorged with a sugar dosage of 4.5g/l. The wine has a pink, salmon color with lucent coppery nuances that give this rosé its image of purity. The bouquet has a lavish intensity that wraps the senses with notes of pomegranate, rhubarb and candied tangerine, together with sensations of crunch cherry, oriental spice, sandalwood and white pepper. The mouthfeel explodes with an aromatic intensity of currant gelatin and candied violets which enhance a citrusy freshness and delicate tannic sensation with an iodine undertone that relaunches the mouthfeel into a surprising persistence in which overall balance comes out on supreme. And for a great Champagne this is just the beginning.
