Didyme 2012

Made from Malvasia grapes, the wine ages in stainless steel. It embraces sunshine already with its straw-yellow color and strong golden tones, while the bouquet is sweetly fruity with aromas of apricot and peaches in syrup and is at the same time upheld by its minerality and sharper notes of aromatic herbs and wild flowers. The mouthfeel is soft and sweet yet dynamic thanks to a nice acidity and an intriguing fruity and saline persistence. This wine which should be consumed while sitting in the shade looking out over the neighboring volcanic island of Stromboli or at least imagining this while at home in the dark city.
