An equal blend of the three Champagne varietals Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier that have undergone malolactic fermentation and with a minimum of 25% of vins de reserve. After sitting for 36 months on the lees, the wine is disgorged with a dosage of 3g/l. The aromatic profile is very delicate with citrus notes of grapefruit lemon and clementines together with those of green apple and elder flower. The mouthfeel is taut, subtle and fresh with a return of citrus notes that dominate the evolution of the fruit element with hints of ginger helping to better define a dynamic based on precision and rhythm. The Maison’s style is recognizable in the purity and finesse of the Champagne but with this version it has less frills and is overall drier and will win over even those who prefer a sharper drop, even with a lovely texture.
