Derthona Timorasso 2010

This is the younger brother of the various Timorassi wines that Walter Massa produces every year in Colli Tortonesi. It has a green color, a nice aroma of ripe fruit, especially yellow peach, with light, elegant and a tad smoky mineral note. The flavor is bold but nicely balanced by an excellent acidic component, that refreshes and makes it easy to drink.
Serve at 8°C with baked amberjack fish, trofie pasta with pesto or a risotto Milanese style.
