Decugnano Bianco 2013

The tasting started off with a bang thanks also due to the weather. This wine has a very luminous color and a textbook aroma with a fine scent of oyster ‘sitting’ on top of floral ones which make it very distinguishable. The mouthfeel is typical for an Orvieto with its floral attack, lively and grainy acidity, light yet cutting, and a finish that dissipates on notes of chalk or oyster. This is above all a measured, reserved wine, a characteristic that distinguishes the wine in all its vintages. On sale starting in the autumn of 2014.
