D’Attimis Maniago Tazzelenghe 2008

Of the selection this is the most unusual. It is less tannic, less acidicand it was also the only one that came from a magnum bottle. This is perhaps why it seems more ready than the others, more tame, already soft and with a sweetness that is almost 'Amarone-esque' with ripe red fruit, prune and black cherry, while in the background are spices and whiffs of chocolate that hide the tannic, acidic and vegetal coarseness typical of this grape.
