Made from Nebbiolo on young vines in the townships of La Morra and Serralunga where the soil is a fine mixture of marl, lime and clay. The wine ages first 12 months in barriques and then another 12 months in tonneaux. This is a rich and ambitious Barolo which has a ruby-red color and a garnet edge. The bouquet has broad and intact aromas of violet, anise, licorice and cherry. The mouthfeel is bold, full and vigorous with clear fruity and floral flavors and a distinct freshness upheld by fine tannins that give the wine both character and elegance.

    Bottles produced: 6,000
