A 100% Pinot Noir from grapes grown in the Maison’s historic parcel La Cote à Bras in Cumières. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats and the wine then sits for six years on the lees before a traditional remuage on the racks. The Champagne was disgorged without any dosage to make it a Brut Nature and also to compensate for malolactic fermentation.
The wine has an intense and lucent golden color and a bouquet with scents of plum pulp, red apple, chestnut honey and an engaging note of spicy dried fruit accompanied by iodine nuances. The mouthfeel has a gastronomic opulence and is both meaty and crispy with sensations of cherry and currant, figs and walnut in a rich finish with a streak of freshness and a nice salinity.
