Adored in France and by French critics (as well as others like Robert Parker who gave the 1995 vintage a 100/100 rating), this wine is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon grapes and the first surprise is its relatively bold yellow color. The next surprise is the intensity of the aromas, extremely floral and citrusy, which include acacia honey and even some smoky notes. The mouthfeel has an outstanding elegance despite the extremely sweet attack. Overall very elegant, balanced, fresh and extremely cleansing. One of the most drinkable sweet wines of its kind which almost recalls Moselle and Nahe Rieslings. *375ml bottles.
