Here is one of 'our' wines used to make a comparison. Without a doubt this is one of the best Chardonnay wines made in Italy, thanks to its geographic location and adherence to the philosophy of wine-makers across the Alps, as well as the taste of the final result. It is also one of the highest ranked Italian whites in various wine guides. The color is a charged golden-yellow, the bouquet is a tad monotonous of hazelnut, almond and yellow fruit. The notes of wood still need to be slightly absorbed, but there is a lovely retro-nasal scent of spice and overall richness. The taste is ample and powerful, to a certain extent anything but northern, due to its opulence.
