For me this is an imitation of Barbaresco del Barolo Cà D’Morissio Monprivato. It has a similar relatively recent history and is the product of a strict selection of grapes, an almost unique terroir and an inspired winemaker. A wine to die for. It is extraordinary already with its very luminous, fiery red color and the aroma is so intense it is painful, with a textbook balsamic component and scents of red berries. There is also a many-sided floral bouquet filled with new sensations. Being still young, the mouthfeel is almost abrasive, jittery, amazing for the way it constantly stimulates. I can only imagine what it will be like in 20 years.
