Crichet Pajé 1999

The color is a ‘classic’ clear, intact red. Initially the typical odors of the producer are evident but they quickly clean up with breathing in order to do justice to this splendid wine, made from grapes grown in the ancient vineyard in the upper amphitheater above the historic estate. After a few minutes the bouquet opens into a formidable spectrum of notes of cherry, blackberry, licorice and incense. With time the balsamic component prevails on tones that are much more acute. The mouthfeel is serried with biting, solid tannins. The aftertaste is excellent.
