Made from Dolcetto grapes grown on ungrafted vines in the vineyard of the same name that macerate on the skins for 12 days before maturing in glass-lined cement vats for 24 months. This vintage was made under the previous classification and thus has a different label. The wine still has a full, intense and limpid ruby-red color with bright reflections. The bouquet has the varietal’s fresh fruity notes with hints of spice and pepper along with those of dried flowers and underbrush. The mouthfeel is very austere and serious with great balance, salinity and a flowing persistence with very fine and elegant tannins. Truly very good.
