Costa Marina 2013

A cool growing season with heavier rains than usual in the first parts of May and June. The color is the first to change to a golden, straw-yellow, while the aromas are not at all intense with notes of mothballs, white spirits and pear, all very subtle. The mouthfeel has nice body, broader than the younger vintages, sharp and with a bold and profound finish. This vintage is a bit drier than the 2014 or 2015 but remains dynamic yet very closed, the result of bottle aging.
