Contrada Blandano 2013

A blend of 75% Carricante and 25% Catarratto that ages for a few months in stainless steel vats. The wine has a straw-yellow color with green reflections and a distinct and intense aroma with scents of gooseberry, licorice and anise along with floral notes and those of medlar. The mouthfeel is rich with a nice structure and is not sweet thanks to its lovely acidity and salinity which make it easy to drink. The finish is persistent despite the warm alcohol sensations.
