This is a wine that divided wine lovers straightaway, immediately pleasing those who like high acidity at all costs. I have never particularly enjoyed it, but I have to say that the two magnums that were uncorked for this occasion were really convincing, with a wine whose components were no longer as extreme as before but were now well-knit. A slightly atypical Matelica. Really good.
