Collelceto 2011

A classic ruby color with a bouquet of yellow peach, blackberry and ripe cherry, classic for southern Montalcino, along with a wonderful, non-invasive chocolate sensation that represents a novelty for the estate. The flavor is excellent with a nice attack and a balanced and substantial progression with good tannins. The acidity is that of a hot year, thus a little low, but sufficient to make this a pleasing drop and the tannins uphold the wine through an intact and intense finish.
