Chianti Classico 2013

Made from Sangiovese grapes, matured in wood for 12-18 months and then aged in the bottle for 12 years. The wine has a ruby color and a clear aroma with a touch of light spice on a bed of red fruit, cardamom and a decidedly intense floral component. The mouthfeel has a medium body, an elegant progression and not too much acidity while the classy tannins have settled. The texture is good and the finish balanced and flavorful.
