This was the first aged version we tasted and the floral bouquet had shifted more towards animal tones. It was an excellent year for the zone and the aroma opened on a note of reduction that was quite insistent and struggled to allow the territory to express itself. The mouthfeel was excellent, smooth and tasty with a finish that was not abysmal and had an aftertaste of leather and Tuscan cigars. Drinkable.
