    Almost perfect. It is difficult to ask anything more from a great Mediterranean red and such a tout court wine. This is an historic version of Rayas, one which enchanted, almost swept away wine critics around the world. It was a hot year and in the area considered to be less important than 2005. However, these are the conditions where Rayas makes the difference. The color is a very lively ruby-garnet and the aromas are intense and already complex, with notes of raspberry, black cherry, wild strawberry, black pepper and cinnamon. The mouthfeel is bold, rich and, at the same time, elegant, firm and with an excellent persistence. Wait a few years before tasting it.
