The intense ruby color still has its light texture and nice consistency with aromas of a secondary nature that are intense and refined with a good complexity. The scents range from blackberry to blueberry, hazelnut to almond and are followed by the ever-present black truffle and a note of leather in the finish, all extremely pleasing. The mouthfeel is full and balanced from the start, the tannins are already suave and velvety and sensations of underbrush repeat themselves in a 20-second finish.
Very harmonious, even if I would wait at least five or more years to drink it. This I would pair with a pigeon stuffed with goose foie gras and a Sauternes gelatin.
