A blend of Nero d’Avola and Frappato grapes, this wine creates harmony between contrasts. The color is a deep, ruby-red and the bouquet seductive and floral with notes of peonies and red rose, cherry, marjoram and thyme and a slightly smoky finish. It has a winning mouthfeel, pungent and intense, with tonic fruit flavors and a good acidity along with brackish notes of capers together with those of hot spice, made even livelier by chiseled tannins.
