100% syrah. Here as well there is no trace of wood since the wine aged in steel with a subsequent quick passage in cement glass vats. The fruit in the aroma is darker with scents of blackberry, prune and ripe cherry that merge together with grassy and balsamic ones. The flavor is still very young – perhaps too much so seeing how it was only bottled a few days earlier – and the tannins are a little rough but the finish has a lovely cherry aftertaste.
