Carmenere 2007

This debut vintage is incredibly good, although limited to only some 1,800 magnum bottles. In the future the wine will only be made when the vintage is right. The color is an intense, almost dark ruby. The aroma has rare finesse and density with scents that range between spices that are more or less sweet. The citron and plumbago scents are excellent and amplified by blueberry and currant in perfect harmony. The taste is very classy with elegant tannins, a nice acidic component and a broad and perfect progression that leaves no doubt over the fantastic workmanship of this wine. The finish is extremely elegant with a monster persistence.
