Cariglio 2011

An interesting wine made from Magliocco Dolce and Magliocco Canino grapes that undergoes malolactic fermentation in steel.
The wine’s ruby color, broad and distinct aroma-flavors are produced by the extreme ripeness and extract of the grapes. The bouquet is dominated by ripe blackberry, prune and marasca cherry jam, together with laurel and juniper berry. The mouthfeel has a nice structure, warm and elegant, with soft tannins and a fresh and lasting savoriness.
