This minuscule winery (a total of just 5,000 bottles produced a year) is run by the very skilled and self-taught Giuseppe Musina and is a fine example of how you can make radical decisions – like not adding sulfites to your wines – without making a hullabaloo but with modesty and competence. In this case it is an unusually pleasing Cannonau 2012 which has precise spicy and mineral scents and a flowing, relaxed mouthfeel that has sweet tannins and a personality that betrays its origins just a little.
