A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Cabernet Franc with the grapes grown in a mixed soil of clay and brittle pebbles rich in minerals with a density of 5,500 rootstocks per hectare. The wine ages for 12 months in barriques and then another 12 months in the bottle before being sent to market.
The wine has a dense, ruby-red color and warm aromas of small, ripe red fruit with light notes of pepper. The flavor is pleasing and progresses in a way that underscores the wine’s drinkability with nicely integrated tannins and a fairly persistent aftertaste.
