Campo alla Cerqua 2008

Of the three wines this winery presented at the tasting this was the one that impressed me the most. It has a color that is not too excessively dark, a broad, intense and assorted aroma with distinct fruit - blackberry, raspberry and cherry - and an elegant and spicy note that recalls cumin and vanilla. The taste is elegant and has personality with its rich attack and lovely progression, refined texture and polished tannins that help amplify a very persistent finish.
