This is one of the greatest white wines in Italy, a Verdicchio di Matelica that is different from the others because its is made using the cryomaceration process and is aged in part in wood barrels. This particular vintage is the first to have a DOCG classification. It has a vibrant and warm yellow color and its flavor has both structure and pulp making it easy to drink. The aroma is quite balsamic with elegant notes that recall the wood.
