Not only is the previous vintage a very hard act to follow but this year was also rather an unfortunate one. This wine certainly is not bad but it is 'diluted', not as bold, less enticing, low key. The bouquet has fresh flowers, yellow fruit and thyme, and while the taste is lively it not does not last long.
